🌿 Taking care of Houseplants
You know those plants that quietly take over a corner of your home—spilling joy from their pots, reaching toward the sun, soaking up the attention (or lack thereof)?
There’s a lesson in their leaves.
We water them, move them toward light, prune them when they’re unruly. We celebrate when they bloom and worry when they droop. And in doing so, we get a quiet reminder:
We need the same kind of care.
💧 Are You Nurtering You?
We need sunlight.
We need nourishment.
We need rest, inspiration, and meaningful connection.
We also need to tend to our minds and spirits.
That’s where painting, coaching, and self-reflection come in. When we engage in creative practices—like intuitive painting or guided visual journaling—we give ourselves what we so often give to others: attention, curiosity, space to grow.
🎨 The Soul-Soothing Power of Paint
Coaching paired with painting is like watering both the roots and the blooms. It’s not about “being an artist”—it’s about listening inward, expressing freely, and creating a life that feels like it belongs to you.
Painting is a treat for the soul, not a task.
It’s for the people who say they “can’t even draw stick figures” but also arrange beautiful meals, tend vibrant gardens, or knit coziness into every corner of the couch.
If that’s you—you’re already creative. Let paint just be another language you get to speak.
🌼 Tending Your Joy
Living surrounded by trees, birdsong, and sky has taught me this:
The more we say yes to ourselves, the more we bring life to everything around us.
So what do you need right now?
What brings you joy, clarity, energy?
Are you taking care of yourself with the same tenderness you offer your plants, your people, your world?
Let art be a place where you do just that.

Quilting is one of my joys, besides having a house full of plants, a cat, an art studio, hiking trails around the corner, and much much more.
What brings you joy? Or like having around?
