Emotional Expression and Healing Through Art
A journey into the self through color, movement, and intuition
In a world that often demands productivity and perfection, art gives us permission to slow down and be human. It offers a space to feel, to reflect, and to heal. Through art, we reconnect with ourselves—not just as creators, but as whole beings.
As a certified life purpose coach and award-winning visual artist, I’ve spent over 20 years blending painting with coaching to help people find clarity, confidence, and joy. My work is grounded in the belief that creativity is a path to inner wisdom—and that the process matters just as much as the product.
A Different Kind of Art Class
Whether you’re joining me online or in person, my classes are about so much more than technique (though we learn that too!). They’re about tuning in, letting go of judgment, and allowing your intuition to lead the way. I’ve developed several programs—visual journaling, intuitive painting, abstract exploration—that meet you exactly where you are.
Many students begin with a desire to “loosen up” or “learn abstract,” but soon discover something more profound. They begin to trust themselves. They reconnect with their creative voice. They feel seen—not just as artists, but as people.
Art as a Doorway to Wholeness
In my Nourish Your Soul retreats, both the annual and mini versions, we move fluidly between painting, poetry, movement, and time in nature. My studio sits at the edge of 20,000 acres of forest—an inspiring backdrop for reflection and renewal. Each art form opens another door, inviting a deeper connection to the self.
And in every class or retreat, I bring my whole self too—artist, coach, guide, cheerleader. I’m here to hold space and encourage you, to help you find what’s already within.
It’s Not a Formula. It’s a Journey.
This isn’t a 1-2-3 guide to happiness. It’s an unfolding. A gentle remembering of who you are beneath the noise of everyday life. And it’s available to everyone—whether you’re new to painting or have been making art for years.
You don’t need to have a plan. You just need a little curiosity, a willingness to explore, and a brush in your hand.
If this speaks to you, I’d love to welcome you to a class or retreat. Together, let’s create something meaningful. Let’s paint. Let’s heal. Let’s come home to ourselves.
